If you are interested in trying some really mouth-watering and authentic tapas in Benidorm during your visit, then La Cava Aragonesa is the place to go. You will find it on Calle Santo Domingo, better known as the appropriately named ‘Tapas Alley’ in the heart of the old town of Benidorm. You are sure to be astonished by the amount of Spanish tapas which are on show in the glass cases in the bar area and variety is certainly not one of their weak points! If you have been wanting to try a little taste of Spain then why not let La Cava Aragonesa be the place...
We could not even begin to list the huge selection of tapas available for you to try and which are a feast to the eyes alone! There is definitely something to everyone's taste! They have everything, including Basque style hot and cold snacks of a thousand different colours, toasted bread with olive oil and puréd tomato, tapas with Iberian smoked jamon, anchovies served with garlic and parsley, varieties of Spanish omelette, a variety of Spanish sausages, cheeses, prawns, stuffed mussels and all types of fish, meat and vegetable combinations - the list is endless!
The bar is decorated in a rustic style and it has air conditioning, which makes it a nice place to take a rest from the heat outside. There is also an extensive wine and cava list although in summer months the cold beer is definitely a winner! Prices are reasonable and you won’t have to dig too deep into your pocket in order to fill up. La Cava Aragonesa will provide you with an authentic Spanish tapas experience. It is definitely a place worth trying and is one that you are sure to return to during future visits to Benidorm!
