The Hogar del Pescador which was founded in 1970, is a restaurant which specialises in seafood and fish dishes. It is currently run by the second generation of the Devesa Santacreu family. In the restaurant you can enjoy from a ray stew with cabbage and potato to the most varied rice dishes in the region, without forgetting of course the excellent and varied seafood and fish from the port of Villajoyosa. To start, you could choose to try the flavoursome "Hogar del Pescador" baby squid, a good red shrimp or clams in a spring onion sauce among many others. They use only the best quality products of the Mediterranean in all of their dishes. The chefs prepare many traditional plates which have been passed down from genereation to generation and they adapt these to the tastes of the more modern client. The restaurant is also available for private events.
